Biography

Xue Chunyu, MD, Chief Physician, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. Professional expertise: early management of trauma (mutilating limb injuries, full-thickness defects of the chest and abdominal wall, etc.) and late-stage deformity correction; repair of complex wounds (radiation ulcers, chronic sinus tracts, etc.); reconstruction and functional restoration of urethral and external genital malformations; comprehensive treatment of superficial malignant tumors (melanoma, skin cancer, soft tissue sarcoma) and hemangiomas; prevention and comprehensive treatment of scars; minimally invasive, refined, and stem cell-based aesthetic procedures. Has long been engaged in the clinical, teaching, and research work of plastic surgery and has participated in numerous domestic and international academic conferences for exchange and learning. In recent years, has received 1 Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and 2 university teaching achievement awards; served as deputy editor-in-chief of 3 monographs and contributed to 5 monographs; has published more than 50 academic papers, including 15 original articles as first author or corresponding author in SCI-indexed journals (Aesth Plast Surg, J Burn Care Res, Burns, Clin Exp Dermatol, Eye, Urology, etc.), and has obtained more than 10 authorized patents.
